Fabulous for steps & pet hair
I have been looking for the magic machine that would effectively clean the pet hair off my steps and furniture. I can finally say that after 8 years of searching I have finally found it!! This little monster cleans like you wouldn't believe .... And with ease! I took my $700 Rikkar over my steps, followed by my little Eureka. You would not believe the dust, dirt, and pet hair the Eureka picked up after I had just vacuumed! This thing is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Poor purchase
This item worked for about a dozen times, then just quit. Owner's guide refers to page 17 for Troubleshooting, but the guide ends at page 12. This vacuum is rather heavy and the hose is short. Unfortunately, this review requires at least one star, otherwise I would give it no stars.
A Real Workhorse
I purchased this hand vacuum about 2 years ago and I love it. I was really surprised at how much suction it has, better than my house vacuum! I just came back to Amazon this afternoon to order a backup easy-clean filter though the original is still fine. I have no reservations in recommending this vacuum to anyone.
