Nice Unit
I purchased one of these refurbished units to save a few bucks.
Upon opening and inspecting the unit, it looked brand new.
There was a notice that the clear plastic collection bin may be cloudy due to being used, but that was not the case with this one.
I charged it up and it works great.
Good suction when using for hardwood/tile floors or with the attachments.
It may not be great for carpeting, but we don't have any because we have dogs. Dogs + carpet = too much work.
Larger debris will get stuck in the beater bar, but this unit is meant for light cleaning and/or touchup.
The documentation says ~6 minutes on max or 13 minutes on regular setting.
I ran it on max for about 10 minutes before it needed to be recharged. If you need to vacuum for a long time, get a corded one.

Vacuum was damaged
My wife and I were excited when we received the Dyson vacuum. Took it out of the box, attached the main hose and started testing it out. It was working great and we were super excited. Then my wife noticed that the switch by the top part of the unit where the hose clips into was cracked. So even though it was working now, repeatedly taking the hose on and off (which will happen a lot) will break that clip eventually, thus making it so the hose (or any other accessory) will not clip in. The crack was about half way through the switch and it is definitely a key part of the unit that will see a lot of use. I am going to be trying to process a return/exchange within the next couple of days.
The 3 star rating is mainly for the poor quality control. The vacuum itself seems great, but since this is a review for a refurbished product, the review must reflect the quality of the product.
Refurb = Like New
Bought it as a factory refurbished item. The item looks like new and it blows away the Eureka, Shark, and Electrolux we have owned in the past. It did the whole house with one single charge which the Electrolux & Eureka could never do. It is powerful for its small size. Do not compare this to large vacuums that cost twice as much. Bigger vacuum cleaners from Hoover (caught using Dyson patents) & Panasonics are better. It is small, can reach difficult places and it looks great. If you have very bad wrists, it might be a tad heavy, but I have no regrets, I love it! For a house with tiles and without pets, it is PERFECT. I am going to purchase a second one for my parents.
