Getting the Best Results
• Charge for 24 hours before first use. Leave Unirapido on charge when not in use. Warm adaptor is normal. Start the Unirapido and use in normal speed for longer usage and in high speed to get maximum cleaning power.• Avoid scratching hard wood floors by checking that nozzle, wheels and brush roll are clean. UniRapido’s dust container must be emptied regularly, plus dust container and filters need to be cleaned to maintain a high suction power. Clean the filters every third emptying or when UniRapido has low suction power. Make sure parts are dry before reassembling.
• If the brush roll becomes blocked or jammed, a protection circuit will block the power supply to the motor. Then clean the brush.

This is NOT a "2-in1" device... vacuums FLOORS only
The Electrolux Unirapido is a floor-only stick-vac device, and a great one! Bought mine to implement a 2011 NYE resolution to keeping a cleaner house. A week into the new year, so far, so good, in part with this tool.
Conducted a lot of internet research prior to buying, and purchased mine at a local big box store, (Begins with 'L', rhymes with 'tows') and couldn't be more pleased. Capacity double that of many other models I found, and 12-volt power translates into more suction and longer run time.
There are two different power settings, 'normal', (upon which the stated 20-minute run time is based) as well as 'high', which is useful for area rugs or door mats. The beater brush runs all the time, but the bristles on it appear soft enough to make it safe to run on hardwood floors. Light weight; durable; very effective; saves time; battery performance variable
My wife bought the EL855 (functionally the same as this model) from local W-M. This is an extremely well-designed, utilitarian, light weight, efficient, durable vacuum cleaner. The articulated base joint allows for quick turns and for squeezing into nearly right-angled difficult spots. The high setting creates a vacuum that sucks up the dirt from the periphery of the base on the first pass, thus significantly reducing total time spent. I have not used the low setting. The battery on maximum charge will last about 800-900 square feet of hardwood floor especially if a lot of time is spent getting into tight spots, moving chairs, etc. Battery charge is reduced even faster on rugs. In other words, battery time is about 15 minutes on high setting. The battery takes quite a long time to recharge, like 6-8 hours. This vacuum cleaner uses a double filtration system that requires frequent cleaning, though it is very easy to clean. First you must rinse the two filters and let them dry...
Great and easy to use
I have 6 cats and a dog and hot air heat. I seemed to be continually sweeping only to see a puff of hair blow by when the heat goes on. This little vacuum has taken care of that problem, no more just pushing the hair around. I LOVE it. It is so easy to use, light, no cord to drag around and the charge has always allowed me to finish my daily clean-up. I use it on tile, hardwood and for a quick touch up on rugs. The clean out snaps right out and is easily emptied and snaps right back in. It will not take the place of my large vacuum but certainly has replaced my broom.
